CUSTOM JEANS CLASS
On the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans? Who isn’t, right? Learn how to sew your own custom-fit jeans using a conmercial jeans pattern and tailoring techniques to achieve a fit that’s uniquely yours. From denim construction to finishing details, you’ll create a pair of jeans you’ll never want to take off!
During this course you will learn:
- How to sew jeans using a jeans pattern
- Minor pattern adjustments and fit techniques for a personalized fit
- Professional seam finishes for denim garments
- Pocket construction and placement
- Traditional jeans zipper installation
- Denim topstitching techniques
- Waistband construction and finishing details
- Tailoring techniques to refine and perfect the fit
COURSE DURATION: 2 hours once a week for 6 weeks or 3 hours once a week for 4 weeks.
ON DEMAND: This option includes links to a previously recorded class that you can view for 30 days plus 2 hours of supplemental private lessons that you can schedule any time.
PREREQUISITE: Sewing 101 class must be completed
SUPPLIES: Virtual Classes: Patterns will be included for the class and shipped upon enrollment we will be using the same pattern for the virtual class. Fabric And notions must be provided by the students
VIRTUAL CLASS RECORDINGS: All virtual classes will be recorded. If you miss a class or need to practice at home you may request the recording and rewatch. Class recordings are only available to students registered for the class and only the speaker will be recorded.
Cancellation Policy: You must give at least 72 hours notice to cancel your enrollment in the class. Once the class has started, we can no longer offer refunds
