Button-Up Shirt Class

Creating a button-up shirt requires a lot of technical skills, which is why we've dedicated an entire class to this project! We're excited for you to strengthen your sewing skills and perfect your technique while making a practical and wearable garment.

In this class, we will be following a commercial pattern to create a button-up shirt (mens' and women's options available!). You'll learn about setting sleeves, collars, cuffs, plackets and more. As you finish the garment, we'll go over hand sewing buttons and creating buttonholes, as well as altering the garment for a perfect fit. This class really has it all!

COURSE DURATION: 2 hours once a week for 7 weeks (14 hours total)

PREREQUISITE: Sewing 101 or similar experience

PRICE: $440

SUPPLIES: One sewing patter is provided. Fabric, buttons, etc. will need to be provided by the student outside of class or purchased at our studio.

VIRTUAL CLASS RECORDINGS: All virtual classes will be recorded. If you miss a class or need to practice at home you may request the recording and rewatch. Class recordings are only available to students registered for the class and only the speaker will be recorded.

Cancellation Policy: You must give at least 72 hours notice to cancel your enrollment in the class. Once the class has started, we can no longer offer refunds.
