• Image of Copy Your Clothes Class: Pattern Making

Have you ever wanted to re-create that favorite black dress or that top you bought 5 years ago and wish that you would have bought two? Well, now's your chance to learn how to re-create that special garment and make it in as many fabrics and prints as you'd like!

During the workshop you will learn:

· how to make a sewing pattern from one of your garments
· how to follow the pattern to recreate your garment
· how to choose appropriate fabrics
· stitches and finishing techniques

Some great options for this class include:
skirts: pencil, a-line
pants: elastic waist, pants with an invisible zipper
shirts: t-shirts, tank tops

Some things to avoid:
button-up shirts, pants with a zipper fly

Additional sewing and finishing may be needed after class and can be done in our Sewing 102 class.
