LITTLE DESIGNERS: WILLIAMSBURG (AGES 4-13)

Inspired by our viral TikTok videos of four-year-olds draping couture looks on half-scale dress forms, our Sewing & Fashion Design after-school program introduces kids to the exciting world of fashion design. Students of all ages learn to drape, sew, and design while creating clothing, accessories, and one-of-a-kind projects for themselves. With guidance from our instructors every step of the way, young designers build confidence, develop real fashion skills, and bring their creative ideas to life!

Location: Williamsburg, BK 60 Broadway (corner of broadway & Wythe) Gretsch Building

About Us: The New York Sewing Center was founded in 2014 by fashion designer Kristine Frailing, who has been passionate about sewing since childhood. As a DOE-approved vendor in NYC, we partner with local schools and summer fashion camps to bring the art of sewing and design to students of all ages.

Age Groups:

4-5 years old on Mondays from 4:30-5:30pm (1 hour)

5-8 years old on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00pm (1.5 hours)

9-13 years old on Thursdays 3:30-5:30 (2 hours)

Skill Level: Beginner

Duration: Fall 2026: September 14th - December 21st
