Dressmaking Class

So you know the basics of sewing--what's next? Dressmaking class is the perfect next step after taking our Sewing 101 class or if you know some sewing basics but want to learn a bit more about dress making. In this class, we will be working from the same pattern and going through making your dress every step of the way! You will learn some new techniques and have a great dress you can wear to your next soirée. What could be better?

PROJECTS: A dress with or without sleeves, princess seams and invisible zipper. 

FABRIC AND SUPPLIES: 2-3 yards of fabric depending on the dress style and size chosen will be purchased by the student and brought to first class. Fabric must be a non-stretch, non slippery fabric. Great options would be crepe, cotton, poly blend, wool blends. Patterns will be shipped upon registration.

COURSE DURATION: 2 hours once a week for 6 weeks or 3 hours once a week for 4 weeks.

PREREQUISITE: Sewing 101 or relevant experience

PATTERNS: Patterns will be provided for this class, or you can bring in your own pattern with pre-approval.

Cancellation Policy: You must give at least 72 hours notice to cancel your enrollment in the class. Once the class has started, we can no longer offer refunds.
