VIRTUAL CLASS: CAD Fashion Design for Beginners

Ready to take your fashion illustrations to the next level? Join us in our first CAD Fashion Design for beginners hosted on ZOOM!

During this course you will learn:
how to use adobe illustrator to create technical drawings of your designs, as well as create prints and textures
all of the tools and menu bars
make a technical flat of a classic, shirt, with more details
how to render gathering, rib knits, ruffles, other textures and details
print repeats, like polka dots, layers, plaid, and more complex prints
how to manipulate repeats and scale
how to add actual images of fabric texture into flats

COURSE DURATION: 4 weeks: 2 hours per week (8 hours)

PREREQUISITE: NONE

VIRTUAL CLASS RECORDINGS: All virtual classes will be recorded. If you miss a class or need to practice at home you may request the recording and rewatch. Class recordings are only available to students registered for the class and only the speaker will be recorded.

SUPPLIES: CAD will be purchased by students and installed on computers prior to class one.
